Simple Sesame Slaw

This is a super simple slaw packed with flavor.

Here it is shown topping five spice sloppy joes.

  • 15m
  • 1 hour


  • 1/2 head cabbage, shredded or chopped finely
  • 2 large carrots, shredded
  • 4 scallions, chopped
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbs sesame oil
  • 1 tbs canola oil
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped (optional)


  1. Mix all ingredients in non reactive bowl
  2. Let rest for one hour before serving
